I weigh 140 ish so i think i'll be ok. My buddy has an 04 and he's let me ride it a little bit, it seems to do good with me. I've been looking around and every one that looks good to call on is sold when i call. . . so they must be good bikes

a little 250 is a good bike for only commuting and saving gas. and at 140lbs, you will be a good fit on one. i had a 600 for a while, it was a mid 90s model, and it was actually pretty heavy.

I would really love an R6 but i can't afford on and the lady doesnt even like the thought of me getting a bike at all so i thought i would go the smart and inexpensive way and get the 250 plus cheap insurance so . . .

i loved my ninja 250,with me at 210 pounds it would top out at about 85 on the highway. plenty enough speed for me on the backroads,if standup wheelies and racing your buddies are what your interested in,then get something else. I could have cruised that bike all day with no problem.
